Water exercise is a popular low-impact exercise choice. To help meet the needs of our swimming community, the Y has added the Y South Pool to its offerings. The Y South pool is an indoor, salt water pool that features two lap lanes (22 yards in length), plus overflow space for water walking. The pool is heated to 80 degrees so you can swim year-round. After your swim, stay and relax on the attached outdoor patio.
We have designated lap lanes and swim times for those wishing to participate in swimming exercise. Lanes are 15 yards in length.
Adult Water Walking
Sometimes you need to move at your own pace in a quieter environment. Our designated water walking times are reserved for the adult population only. Water walking is great for those with limited mobility, sports rehabilitation, needing physical assistance, or just beginning to exercise.
